2019 Art of the Vineyard Volcanique Cuvée of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from the legendary West Paso Robles volcanic Carmody McKnight vineyard.  This limited-allocation release is a true collectors' item.

The estate wine has fantastic concentration while never feeling over-ripe. The tannins are seamless and the purity of fruit makes it so deliciously exotic. This is aromatic with red current, dried cherries and plum skins as well as spiced chocolate, geranium, walnut shell and orange peel. It’s full, structured and wide on the palate with medium tannins. It’s powerful but not heavy with freshness and crunchiness. Shows intensity and richness. Delicious drinking now, yet will age beautifully through 2030.

This rare, limited-edition release is labeled by artist Gary Carmody Conway and is available for purchase along with 7x9 autographed prints of the label online or at Art of the Vineyard Tasting Gallery in downtown Paso Robles.
